| | Goldfish pond | | The much-loved Goldfish was one of the earliest fish ever to be domesticated. It is a small member of the carp family. The Goldfish pond saw its origin in the Tang Dynasty of China. It was at this time that genetic mutation of carps produced the golden or the yellowy or ange coloration on the carp. The chinese emperor exclusively maintained the first Goldfish pond, a luxury that he denied his subjects. It was a symbol breeding in captivity led to more mutations. More striking colors led to the birth of the fancy Goldfish variety. | |
| | TVB Here Come's The Princess,Coming 2010 | | Damn I still haven't figured how to post in the right topic on MyLot just yet and accidentally posted this discussion where no one would likely see it.I was surfing on the internet the other day and came across the TVB 2010 sales presentation. There was one movie in particular that I really wanted to see,it's called Here Comes The Princess (as in she's coming soon, better be prepared). Beijing's temperate continental climate produces four clearly contrasted seasons: a short spring, rainy and humid summer, long and cold winter, and a very pleasant autumn.Beijing emerged as a city as far back as the Western Zhou Dynasty (11th century-770 B.C.), then known as Ji. During the Warring States Period (475-221 B.C.) it was the capital of the State of Yan. Ji had ever since remained a city of strategic importance and a trade center for the north for well over a thousand years. Then, in the early 10th century, it became... | |
