| | I'm becoming sneaky these days | | Yesterday evening I realised that I hadn't looked at my car papers in months and when I looked one of then was out d date. should have been paid by the end of October. So I immediately leapt into action and got up early this morning to reach the tax office to pay it before going to work.Just my luck. Police out on the road like rice grain, stopping motorists to check their papers etc and issue tickets for all sorts of things.I successfully passed three sets of policemen who were armed to their teeth and I realised that you must never make eye contact as if you do they will stop you. So I practiced looking impatient and drumming my hands on th steering wheel etc and it worked as they did not stop me.I ws actually feeling quite smug until just before I reached the tax office a huge policeman stepped out into thw rioad and out up his hand to stop me. I just couldn't pretend that I hadn't seen him. So, heart racing I stopped. The fine is over $10,000 of our dollars so I really wanted to get out of ths situation.I greeted him charmngly and he asked to see my papers. I kept on my seat belt and first showed him my driver's licence and then leaned across, groaning a... | |

| Did you know that bees are good for other purpose... | | Bee are important to us. Besides pollinating plants and creating honey, they can be deployed to other uses as well.Bees can be conditioned to develop a preference for TNT or any material that releases metamphenamine.
The bees can be attached with a small tiny radio plates, the size of a rice grain, to detect antipersonnel landmines. There are about 100 million in 70 war-torn countries still riddled with landmines. The tiny radio plates are engraved with serial numbers to keep track of the bees. Special spectrometers that can detect the TNT are placed in movable beehives to indicate landmines in specific areas. Bees that can "smell" the explosives can then be traced to the landmine.
Due to their size, they will not be able to detonate the landmines though.Interesting... isn't it?
Just in case you cannot see the image.

| | What's your eating habit? | | I recently posted a thread about my habit of being a tidy bunny. My house, as you all well know by now, is scrupulously clean. Same goes with my eating habit.
Whenever, I'm eating, my plate is clean. You will not see anything on the table. Not one single rice grain or food on the floor.I happened to know a few people eating like they were always running out of time. They will eat noisily. Their plate is dirty, the table on the side of their plate is a mess and there will be lots of food spilling on the floor. I can understand if its a 6, 8 or 10 years old child eating that way. But for an adult, I think they should know how to eat properly. This is only my opinion. I don't believe in the saying that if your house is a mess, then you're also a messy eater. My brother is a perfect example in this case. Every part of his house is positively out of order, but he knows his manner whenever its eating time. I like to know if you're a tidy or a messy eater? What do you think of those people who are eating noisily and a total mess? Should they know that proper etiquette should be observed while eating? Do share your thoughts. | |
