Many also do not like the number 14. This is because the Chinese believe the numbers means 'easy to die'. I often hear people talking that they would like a girl with beautiful face and shape and average intellegence or even no brain than a smart woman, is that true do you think?Due to cultural difference, I think most Chinese men would prefer an idiot beauty than a smart girl because they are afraid that they may surpass them in many aspects. No matter rich or poor, they always cherish the illusion that their girls should be as beautiful as they can but little thinking whether or not they deserve a beauty themselves, this is quite true for those with bad income, no good-looking, less promising family background men.

| | i got harrassed. are the guilty deserving of death penalty? or is it too harsh?? | | 2 weeks ago as i'm writing this, I got harrassed by 2 chinese men. I will keep the other details in private but the main point is that these 2 chinese men kept on calling me to meet them up at the mall. They told me they saw my profile on friendster and my other information. I told them no since i didn't know them and after their being persistent i decided to meet them to tell them off.
upon meeting, i honestly felt that they were planning something against me especially with the malicious look in their eyes. the whole scene was uncomfortable and there were 2 of them and 1 of me so I had to leave the place as soon as i can.
I felt so bad about it and degraded. in my country, any form of harassment against women is considered rape and death penalty can apply. but then some people think this punishment is really too rash especially for foreigners.
What do u think about this? is the situation my fault? or any advice on which is best?!! I will be open to what anyone says. Thank you | |
