| Do you think Chinese Bamboo plants really bring good luck? | | They are really pretty plants with the bamboo stalk, some can grow very tall and curvy. when you buy one you'll see a tag that will say that if you face the plant towards the east in your home it will bring good luck. I've had two of them and both of them have died due to me not being a very good plant mom and forgetting to water it after about a year and a half or so. It seems like though everytime my bamboo plants starts to die, things in my life just take a turn for bad. I am really starting to believe these plants might not be far from the truth. I am going to buy another next time i go out. Do you think these plants bring luck? Do you have a story? | |
| | The riddle of the Chinese bamboo tree | | I will like everyone to tell me the answer to this riddle. In the far east, the people planted a tree called the Chinese Bamboo, during the first four years, they watered and fertilized the plant with seemingly little or no result, then the fifth year, they again watered and fertilized-and in five weeks time, the tree grew 90 feets high, the obvious riddle or question is- did the tree grew up to 90 feets in 5weeks or in 5 years? | |
